'Splode!

This shirt is an excellent example of "If your going to do something that's been done, make sure you do it better than everyone else." There have been a lot of exploded nintendo gear on t-shirts, but none had them exploding with awesome content! Gamepaused.net has this delight for sale now. How many game references can you find?

Zombie Defense Furniture

The eternal debate over who's house can be best anti-zombie fortified maybe passé if one simply makes some smart furniture choices. Take the Fully Loaded Chair from REHHAB. With 388 fully loaded shotgun shells readily at hand, your glass backdoor becomes a little less of a worry....

Army of one

How big of a fan of Gears of War are you? Sure you enjoy an evening of pretending to obliterate locust hordes (or Delta Squadrons, depending on which way you swing). But what if it didn't have to be pretend? Project Triforce and Nightmare Armor Studios have got you covered with their Lancer Assault Rifle Replica (only $949!) and officially licensed Gears of War armor suit! LARP on brave soldier, LARP on.

I just want to pinch his cheeks!

Could Robocop be any cuter? Methinks not! This is a fantastic papercraft from SF Papercraft Gallery even has a removable helmet to reveal Robocop's softer side (literally), Alex J. Murphy!

ingredients for making your wii be more like a PS3

I'm too chicken shit to do this to my wii, but it looks like wiifanboy.com has come up with a "safe" hack to allow the wii to play DVDs. They have a very nice step by step how to guide with photos. Unfortunately, you will have to own Zelda: Twilight Princess to make it go. Very cool! Homebrew for the Wii sounds like a really good idea.

go on, get in the closet

I believe I've mentioned my desire to collect a stable of talented people that I keep in my closet and can pull them out on demand to produce whatever it is that they produce. In the case of sonicscape jun, he will be brought forth from my closet when I am in need of teeny tiny papercraft versions of my favorite electronics. Good lord man. Click on each image (except for the atari) for a link to the youtube video of summerson84yang building these nutso papercraft models. Please note that the DS has a removable cartridge :o!

I will never have a blanket this cool

Even if I had any surviving grandmothers, none of them knew how to quilt. Even if they did know how to quilt, I'm not sure I would have know how to explain these projects to them, "See, he's a plummer, but sometimes he's a raccoon...". Thankfully, there's Punzie of Rapunzel's Tower to fill the void. Check out the hot pacman pillows too!

sunrise... sunset...

More felty goodness, I just can't help myself. Above we feature two cassette coin purses from brave moonman. She (he?) has a rainbow of 80s-inspired cuteness! Speaking of 80s cuteness, check out the keytar and 3.5" floppy disc pins! Teehee!

bitey

These adorable felted creations are from foulfowl. They are itty bitty (~ 2" tall) and I can't believe how detailed they are! The teeth! The plunger! So fun! I have no idea how these are made - anyone?

no longer junior varsity

This is absolutely gorgeous. Classy, subtle and totally hot. "The first in a series of limited edition pin 'medals' that celebrate the memories of endless epic battles, infinite high scores and numerous blistered fingers. " I can't wait to see what follows.

girls like skillz

Papercraft... where do I begin... Papercraft is the art of printing designs onto sheets of paper that can be cut folded and glued into three dimensional shapes. Seems simple. Until the otaku get their hands on it. This shit it unreal. IT'S MADE OUT OF PAPER. I wish I knew how many papercuts were endured to make these. I bet that would make me feel better about my ambi-non-dexterousness.

nice ass!

Who doesn't love a good case mod? This is a 80g, 1,330MHz Celeron D computer mashed into a wee lovable NES. And it can it can be yours on eBay! As I type, it's at $460.00 and has not met it's reserve. I can't see paying too much more than that for it. As nice as those cut outs are in it's rumpus, I have to wonder if you shouldn't just buy a broken NES, a macmini and wah-la!

So, I'm a big comic geek. And after 19 years of collecting, I seriously enjoy seeing comic characters reimagined (which is why I'll go see almost any comic movie that doesn't have Ben Affleck in it). This week "Under the Influence: A tribute to Stan Lee" opens, and there are some amazing works featured. I've included some of my faves, but do yourself a favor and go check them all out. And then buy me some.

via scott c who has some excellent work in the show also!

dance! dance!

If this doesn't make you smile, you make want to check if you have blood in your veins. Domokun is like Brad Pitt, I may not want to like him, but I can't goddamn help it! And neither can you after this!

What have you done for me lately?

This swiss-army emulator uses an SD card to load all the NES, Famicom, Gameboy and Gameboy Color games you can find. Bored with that? It can also eat up and spit back MP3s, Mp4s, JPGs, WMAs and AVIs. If you're still not sold, they've thrown in a voice-recorder, an e-book reader (that will actually read to you) and a goddamn flashlight. You want icing on that cake? It even has a USB port, so this baby can power any handheld devices it didn't make obsolete, with it's solar powered might!! That's right, S-O-L-A-R P-O-W-E-R-E-D. Feeling a little under-served? This can be yours for $123.23.

I've had complaints about the boobs

So, I figured I'd better move them on down the page. How about some immaculate pacman cupcakes followed by some impeccable mario cupcakes instead? Pretty freaking amazing work, hello_naomi.

not weird at all

I think Japan may have created "Funwari Milk-chan" just to mess with Americans. Translating to "Fluffy Milk", these mini-mammaries have personalities and adventures in Milk Village where they speak Milk language.

"Funwari Milk-chan (pictured below, center) is easygoing. Despite her dream of growing large, she remains small. She loves collagen, and napping is her favorite pastime. Can Milk-san (top left) is a celebrity entertainer, always aglitter. She has an American boyfriend and loves going to beauty salons. Ganguro Milk-chan (bottom left), despite being a gyaru with a pierced nipple, is mature and level-headed. She spends all her time practicing para-para dance, and she enjoys purikura. Peach Milk-chan (top right), a spider-hating fashionista who is scary when angry, is well-informed and into anything lowbrow. Milko-chan (bottom right) is still a baby — but a genius. She loves to invent things, and her pacifier apparently holds the secret to her smarts."(translation from pink tentacle)
