macross+dualis=cooler than michael bay

Macross creator/designer Shōji Kawamori has once again had his designs leap from the design to reality. Nissan commissioned this 3.5 meter high mecha version of their SUV, the Dualis to be featured in a series of commercials that look way cooler than any of the transformers movie stuff. Yes, I know I'm a little biased and little obsessive in my disdain for the new design of the transformers. *sigh* Here's one of the four commercials:
